About us
We offer a range of full livery services to suit the needs of your horses and the work and life circumstances of you, their owners. We have a spectacular new stables, a great choice of newly fenced fields and a fantastic arena. We believe that our service offering is very special and we have developed a bespoke environment to focus on the safety, security and happiness of your horses. Our stables are accessed via a secure electric gated entrance and are monitored by CCTV cameras 24hrs a day.
Ling Bob Stables will appeal to clients who are looking for quality and superb service. You will likely have a busy lifestyle and need to know that your very special horse is properly looked after. We are proud of our stables and the facilities that surround them. We are in a lovely location, conveniently placed for urban access yet with wonderful views facing out to the Yorkshire Dales.
Our friendly and capable team are very experienced and all have a passion for horses and their well being. They are well trained in all equine areas from health and safety to equine management and dietary requirements. The team is lead by our Stables Manager Lynsey Horner, who has 15 years experience of running yards. She has two horses in the yard herself and is very committed as we hope you are to creating a relaxed and positive environment for all.
Our Services
Livery is provided in accordance with your requirements. Price may vary. It is likely to include the daily provision of:
- Loose box / stable
- Muck out
- Hay as your horse requires
- Bedding and ad lib straw or 1 bale of Premierbed paper/ card or Equinola
- Use of buckets and Yard tools
- Use of tack room
- Parking space for lorry or trailer
- Standard portions of hard feed
- Feeding and watering twice each day
- Turnout (except in very wet weather)
- 24/7 Summer turnout available
- Grooming 15 minutes each day
- Rug management including all rug changes
- Daily health assessment
- Attendance to vet, farrier, dentist and physio
Lessons and other events
We provide lessons at our Ling Bob Stables arena and have a range of jumps. View our lesson prices here.
We are also planning other events over Summer. We plan to organise some clinics in the near future and we will advertise these on our website.
Livery Packages
At LingBob we provide top class full livery care alongside fitness work, schooling, starting & backing and sales livery. Our knowledgeable team will provide the support you and your equine require dependant on your needs.
All Full Livery is inclusive of:
- Good quality locally sourced Hay/Haylage and Straw to meet your horses requirements
- Basic hard feed and guidance in your horses dietary requirements
- Stables mucked out, clean, tidy and well bedded
- Stable and land maintenance
- Turn Out and Bring In
- Leg hosing and hoof-pick dependant on preferences
- Individual care profiles
- Support and advice from our friendly, knowledgeable team
- Use of solarium included
- On site off road Farm Ride in dry months
Bronze – Five Day Full Livery (£100pw)
Consists of our excellent full livery care, five days a week, with the remaining two days as DIY and the option of additional services and support as you require.
Silver – Five Day Exercise Full Livery (£120pw)
Our Silver package as above, with the additional support of your horse’s exercise by our experienced team.
Price stated based on two exercise sessions per week (£10 weekly discount). Schooling/lunging/hacking available dependant on your requirements.
Gold – Seven Day Full Livery (£125pw)
Consists of our excellent full livery care, seven days a week, with the additional inclusion of grooming twice a week.
Platinum – Seven Day Exercise Full Livery (145pw)
Everything included in our excellent Gold Package with the addition of our experienced team supporting your horses exercise schedule.
Price stated based on two exercise sessions per week (£10 weekly discount). Schooling/lunging/hacking available dependant on your requirements.
Starting, Backing and Schooling Livery (TBA)
Be it keeping your equine fit while you’re away, starting your young horse or progressing your horse’s education, our experienced and knowledgeable team can support. Your horse would receive our top class full livery care alongside us working with you to set and agree a plan dependant on your individual horses needs and their current training stage.
Sales Livery (TBA)
We will work with you to outline any educational needs your horse has to get them in a position to find a new home, when they’re ready for this we’ll take the weight of your shoulders by covering advertisement, viewings and negotiations.
